Tombstone. The Town Too Tough to Die.

One look at Allen Street and suddenly you're transported back in time to the Old West.

Cowboys, outlaws, Native American warriors, you name it.

At some point you might even hear the music of "A Fistful of Dollars" playing in your mind!

These were just some of the things that came to mind when I took this shot of some of the storefronts in Allen Street.

There were a lot of things to do in this wonderful town, including shopping for Old West trinkets and memorabilia.

But what I would say was the best part of visiting there was the reenactments of Old West shootouts, performed daily at the exact spot they originally occurred.

There are also life-size statues of the famous gunslingers that lived in Tombstone, and you can take your photo beside each one.

One interesting I learned about this town is that it is supposedly haunted by the many outlaws that were buried just outside the town, which is now Boothill Graveyard.

What a great way to enjoy a piece of American history.
