My name is Cheri Alguire. I specialize in Landscape, Wildlife and Travel Photography. I fell in love with photography in my father’s darkroom in our basement at the age of three. I received my first camera as a gift for my fifth birthday and I have had a camera in my hands most days since, it is an extension of who I am.

A photograph can be a magical thing that mentally takes you to a place you have never been or reminds you of a place you already love. These pieces of art can change your whole mental state of mind and connect you to nature in a way that is fundamentally the same as really being out in the wilderness yourself.

I spent almost 9 years traveling full-time in my Motorhome, crisscrossing the US. There is so much beauty out there in the United States of America and the world. I aim to experience, photograph and share as much of that beauty as possible.

While I have many photos of Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon, I also have photos of unknown swamps in Louisiana, deserts in Arizona, lakes in Minnesota, small towns, larger cities, and so many other unusual places.

The landscape, the wildlife, the cities… they are all so different, and beautiful! We live in an amazingly beautiful and complex world. As I continue to share my heart with you through these photos, I hope you enjoy the journey with me, and maybe add a few pieces of my art to your collection!
